Jincheng Liu – China’s finest artist
Jincheng Liu, one of Chinas most eminent and representative figurative and abstract painters is definitely an artist to follow.
His career has taken him to be an aclaimed and sought after painter. The extreme artistry and draughtsmanship of his artworks are his unmistakable signature.
His unique blend of oriental and eastern European style is stunning. Jincheng uses a brush with the ability of the great masters of the past and the amazing skill of Chinese calligrafists along with a creative force that takes him from his Tibetan portraits to the more abstract “False and Real” masterpieces (image top left).
Jincheng Liu graduated from the famous Beijing Art School in 1977 and took his M.A. In European Fine Art under Professor Li Ruinian in 1982.
Liu arrived in London in 1989 and studied at the Slade School of Art as a post-graduate. His work can be found in numerous collections all over the world.
Jincheng’s exhibitions include the B.P. Award, the National Portrait Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts, the British Landscape Society, Victoria and Albert Museum, only to name a few.
Quotations for Jincheng Liu are equalled only by the best contemporary artists. His works can be found at prices that range from £9,000 to £30,000 and up.

Jincheng’s work currently fetches higher prices in Asia than in Europe but this discrepency should stabalise over the next few years as Chinese investors move West.
A true Artist with a capital A if ever there was one.
